November 20, 2025 – 1HMX, a provider of human-machine experience solutions, has this week introduced Nexus NX1, a unified system that combines multiple immersive technologies for full-body control in robotics, virtual reality (VR), and simulation applications.
Nexus NX1 is designed as a turnkey package that integrates several XR industry devices, including HaptX Gloves G1 for tactile and force feedback, the Virtuix Omni One 360-degree movement platform, and Freeaim’s motorized robotic shoes. The system also features 72 degrees of freedom (DoF) body and hand tracking, along with a software development kit (SDK) for integration with VR and robotics platforms.
According to the company, Nexus NX1 enables users to experience realistic touch feedback, natural mobility, and full-body presence. The system is intended to support teleoperation and training of humanoid robots, as well as realistic VR training and simulation.
1HMX stated that data collected by the system includes sub-millimeter precision full-body motion capture, skeletal and soft tissue models, precise tactile displacement and pressure data across hundreds of points on the fingers and palms, center of mass location, locomotion metrics, and foot-to-ground distance.
“Nexus NX1 is a huge stride toward a fully immersive experience that will blur the line between reality and simulation,” said Jake Rubin, President of Immersive Technologies at 1HMX.
The company stated that Nexus NX1 is suitable for industrial and enterprise organizations in sectors such as manufacturing, medical, defense, and research. The system can also be networked for multi-user applications, enabling full-body avatars and real-time touch feedback in collaborative environments.
