Slated for a July 8th release on mobile and PC, Backyard Baseball ’01 features all the fun of the original, amped up with a crisp new menu interface and other fresh additions. This rerelease will also feature the same smooth touch controls as Backyard Baseball ’97.
However, the biggest way that Backyard Baseball ’01 differs (and what fans will most remember) is its introduction of iconic MLB stars to the diamond. How does that work in a kid’s baseball sim? Well, these MLB players make an appearance as child versions of themselves!
