Owlchemy Labs has announced Hyper Visor, an arcade game for Xreal Aura that lets players fire energy streams from their hands. The US$1.99 title is planned to arrive alongside the Android XR glasses.

The Google-owned studio behind Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator describes a game in which cracks appear in reality around the player. Clearing targets and defeating bosses repairs those rifts across eight levels.
Hand-controlled shooting brings arcade challenges into your surrounding space
In Owlchemy’s announcement, a pair of living shades reveals the disturbances hidden in the player’s everyday surroundings. Each level has its own challenges and a boss, with victories restoring the visor’s power before a final confrontation.

Owlchemy CEO Andrew Eiche said in the announcement that the game is intended to be approachable for both newcomers and experienced XR players. The studio sees the glasses form factor as a way to reach people who may hesitate to wear a conventional headset.
Hyper Visor will be sold through Google Play. At $1.99, it is a small standalone purchase built around the eight-stage arcade campaign, with its energy-stream controls designed for players using their hands.

Hyper Visor joins Owlchemy’s broader move onto Android XR
The studio is also bringing existing games to Aura, including Job Simulator, Vacation Simulator, Dimensional Double Shift and Inside [JOB]. Hyper Visor adds a new arcade experience to that line-up.
Xreal Aura runs Android XR and pairs the glasses with a separate computing unit. MIXED has previously examined its published hardware specifications, including the displays and the external puck.
Aura is available to preorder through Xreal’s store. The game announcement ties Hyper Visor to the hardware launch, rather than providing a separate calendar release date. The confirmed outline is eight levels, hand-controlled energy beams and a $1.99 price; final availability depends on that launch schedule.
