April 1, 2025 – Mynd Immersive, a provider of immersive healthcare solutions for older adults, has announced that during the first quarter of 2025 it expanded its digital health services with the addition of 150 senior living communities across the United States.
The company stated that the milestone represents “the largest deployment of extended reality (XR) therapies in senior care history,” noting an average deployment and training rate of 25 communities per week.
Mynd offers a range of immersive therapy solutions aimed at supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being among older adults. The company collaborates with partners including Select Rehabilitation, HTC VIVE, AT&T, and various spatial content providers to distribute its offerings. Mynd also noted ongoing partnerships with Stanford University, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), focused on collecting data related to XR use in aging populations.

Mynd stated that its partner Select Rehabilitation, a U.S.-based contract therapy provider with over 20,000 therapists, is working to integrate the ‘MyndXR’ platform across its network to help enhance physical, occupational, and speech therapy, and support cognitive, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
