Another new bite of behind-the-scenes that made its way to the web, giving Jack Black and Paul Rudd the opportunity to voice in all their chaos and crazy reasons for teaming up for the film and the mayhem in the making. The film, which has been re-envisioned as a full-fledged comedy out of the classic beastie feature, is due for a release for Christmas.

Maybe those two are down to remind the world why theaters were invented in the first place. A new clip landed for behind-the-scenes madness from ‘Anaconda,’ bringing with it well-crafted chaos. The zany tour through the set saw the crew asthmatically attempting to hunt a giant snake in the jungle, before being hunted themselves. Intense energy, a bit bonkers, and the sort of fun that has long been away from the multiplex.
Rudd immediately jumped into his reasons for signing on. “Let me tell you a little bit about why I wanted to be in Anaconda,” he smiles. “Paul Rudd was already attached, and I was like, I want a party with that, dude.” That’s it. There was no other consolation needed. It was really about having fun with a friend, which goes on to prove that some of the best movies come out of genuine camaraderie.
Obviously, this was a two-way street. No!” as the giant snake puppet towers over him, followed by a classic, “We no longer have a snake for our snake movie.” The premise is absurd, and they’re going all in.
Reception for the teaser trailer has been utterly positive, many clamoring for this sort of easy-going kind of comedy. To quote one fan, “Can not wait!!!! These guys just like to have FUN!!!!! What movies have completely forgotten how to be!!!” There is a truth running through every one of them- there comes a time when one wants to watch one’s favorite actors having fun.
The excitement was certainly never contained within the four walls surrounding the main cast. The casting of a Brazilian star, Selton Mello, alongside Jack Black has unleashed another segment of the audience into hysteria. “Jack Black and Selton Mello!!! Aaaaaa!!!!” exclaimed one user with glee that swelled through the international pairing. The response had another user clapping madly for these two with a string of emojis.
Let’s also take comfy seats among fellow comedians staring in awe of the buzz. “Hahahhahhaha I can’t wait for this one!!” declared actress and comedian Amy Sedaris, with an endorsement to back up the further prospect of truly funny film. That seems to be an excitement that cuts through an expected response from fans and seeps deep into the entertainment landscape.
After much laughter, someone declared, “this is even better than the original.” The 1997 ‘Anaconda,’ for those aware, has enough of a cult status for its vastly different tone; thus, the comment indicated to be on the mark with their comedic treatment, targeting audience. Another voice confirms that declaration, “Pretty sure this is exactly what the world needs!” Put simply: a stupidly funny movie about a giant snake is just exactly what the world needs for its cinematic escapades, which are currently ruled by heavy franchises.
