Next Grow a Garden update
The next Grow a Garden update release date is Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 7am PDT / 10am EDT / 3pm BST. No details have been revealed, but it will mark the end of the GaG Beanstalk event.
On July 28, a poll was uploaded to the official Grow a Garden X feed, asking if players wanted a cooking event or a beanstalk event. Cooking won out by just 4%, and was added that week. Now, players who voted for the Beanstalk event also get their way.
Alongside growing and climbing a massive beanstalk to unlock new pets, seeds, and more, players also gain access to a new index this week. This shows every available item in the game and your progress towards completing the checklist. The August 23 event continued the Beanstalk trend with more rewards and new ways to participate.

Grow a Garden patch notes – Beanstalk Pt. 2, August 23, 2025
The second leg of the Beanstalk event added new rewards as you climb, reworked the classification of some plants that contributed to its growth, and added different types of possible beanstalks among other things.

- On your climb to the top you may now encounter 1 of 4 possible different beanstalks. There are 3 brand new beanstalk types such as golden, mushroom trampolines, and more… More rewards have been added that can be claimed on the way up. The event shop waiting in the clouds at the top has new items, a new shop tab, and there is even a crafting table where you can craft items + all items are still purchasable with sheckles!,
- Friendship, feed the Giant to level up your friendship, unlocking a new tab in his shop with lots of new rewards that unlock the more your friendship increases!,
