Alyosha is a playable Electro Sub-DPS in Genshin Impact. He has a straightforward kit, making him easy to build. He doesn’t spend much time on the field after using his Elemental Skill and Burst. Additionally, Alyosha helps increase his team’s Stellar Conduct DMG. When building Alyosha, players should give him the Frostbreath weapon and the Heart of the Furnace artifact set. In this guide, I’ll list the best builds for Alyosha, explaining why they work for him while also providing some F2P alternatives.

Frostbreath

Stats |
|
|---|---|
|
R1 Effect |
Triggering a Cryo or Hydro-related elemental reaction increases the equipping character’s ATK by 20% for the next 15s, as well as regenerates 6 Elemental Energy for other members of their party. This effect can trigger once every 16s. |
Frostbreath increases Alyosha’s ATK by 20% whenever he triggers a Stellar-Conduct while also allowing him to generate Energy for his team. When wielding the battle pass weapon, Alyosha gets another layer of utility to support his team while also gaining the Energy Recharge and ATK% he needs to deal more DMG. These two effects are enough to make Frostbreath one of the best weapons for Alyosha in Genshin Impact.
Song of the Vigil
|
Stats |
|
|---|---|
|
R5 Effect |
Triggering an Elemental Reaction regenerates 8 Elemental Energy for the equipping character. This effect can trigger once every 9s. On the other hand, triggering a Stellar Glimmer reaction increases their ATK by 40% for 12s. The aforementioned effects can trigger even when the character is not on the field. |
Song of the Vigil is a solid F2P option for Alyosha because it regenerates Energy and increases his ATK by 40% whenever he triggers a Stellar-Conduct reaction. Song of the Vigil is a 4-star Forgeable weapon that can easily be refined, amplifying its passive effect and granting Alyosha higher buffs.
Engulfing Lightning
|
Stats |
|
|---|---|
|
R1 Effect |
ATK increased by 28% of Energy Recharge over the base 100%. You can gain a maximum bonus of 80% ATK. Gain 30% Energy Recharge for 12s after using an Elemental Burst. |
If you want to build Alyosha to deal maximum DMG with his Elemental Burst, you need to give him as much Energy Recharge as possible. You can further increase Alyosha’s DPS by building him with a 5-star weapon like Engulfing Lightning. It complements Alyosha’s build by granting him more ATK% the more Energy Recharge he has. Not to mention, the 5-star Polearm greatly increases Alyosha’s Energy Recharge through its substat and passive effect.
The Catch
|
Stats |
|
|---|---|
|
R5 Effect |
Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 32% and Elemental Burst CRIT Rate by 12%. |
The Catch works as a mini Engulfing Lightning, boosting Alyosha’s Elemental Burst DMG with a flat bonus instead of one that scales with his stats. Still, giving him Energy Recharge while increasing his Elemental Burst DMG and Crit Rate makes The Catch a solid 4-star F2P option for Alyosha.
Favonius Lance
|
Stats |
|
|---|---|
|
R5 Effect |
CRIT Hits have a 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 6s. |
If Alyosha’s team is more in need of a battery, and you don’t have access to Frostbreath, you can build him with the Favonius Lance Polearm. Alyosha will lose a lot of DPS, but he’ll be able to regenerate some Energy for his team whenever he lands a Crit hit. Keep in mind that whenever a character uses a Favonius weapon in Genshin Impact, their build needs to be adjusted to have more Crit Rate, which allows them to trigger the weapon’s Energy regeneration.

Heart of the Furnace |

ATK +18% |

4pc |
Increases the equipping character’s ATK by 12% for 12s when they trigger a Stellar Glimmer reaction or deal Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG. Also increases Stellar Glimmer reaction DMG dealt by all nearby party members by 50%. The above effects can trigger even when the equipping character is not on the field, and he DMG bonus from multiple Artifact Sets with the same name do not stack. |
|
Building Alyosha with the Heart of the Furnace set greatly improves his supportive utility, letting him buff his team’s Stellar-Conduct reaction by a whopping 50%. This is on top of the 20% buff Alyosha grants through his kit. It also increases Alyosha’s ATK% by around 30%, which should further increase his Stellar-Conduct DMG. The Heart of the Furnace set works even when he’s not on the field, which makes it a perfect match for his Elemental Burst, which summons his trusted companion Tugarin to deal off-field DMG for 14 seconds.

Elemental Burst DMG +20% |
|
4pc |
Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack. |
|
If there’s another character using the Heart of the Furnace set in the team, you can build Alyosha with another supportive artifact set like Noblesse Oblige. It increases his Elemental Burst DMG while granting his team a 20% ATK buff. This allows Alyosha to remain useful to his team even if he can’t use his best artifact set.
Emblem of Severed Fate

|
Noblesse Oblige |
2pc |
Energy Recharge +20% |
|
4pc |
Increases Elemental Burst DMG by 25% of Energy Recharge. A maximum of 75% bonus DMG can be obtained in this way. |
|
If you’re going with Engulfing Lightning as the weapon of choice for Alyosha, you can double down on that gameplay and build him with the Emblem of Severed Fate artifact set. This will combine his passive buff based on Energy with the effects of both his weapon and artifact set to take his Elemental Burst’s DMG to the next level. Of course, this build only works if you manage to stack enough Crit value through his main and substats, since his kit, Engulfing Lightning, and Emblem of Severed Fate don’t provide any Crit value to amplify his DMG.
Alyosha Best Synergy
Alyosha is an interesting 4-star character who can buff the Stellar-Conduct reaction and work around it, but he can’t convert Superconduct into Stellar-Conduct himself. It’s essential to team him with at least one character who enables Stellar Conduct reactions, like Sandrone, Cryo Traveler, or Odette.
Other characters like Yae Miko, Qiqi, and Cyno are some of the best characters who work in Stellar-Conduct teams, and each operates in their own dedicated role without clashing with Alyosha’s gameplay. You can also include F2P Stellar-Conduct characters in Alyosha’s team, such as Beidou and Diona. Both characters enhance Stellar-Conduct gameplay with their kits and grant further buffs through their constellations.
Alyosha Best Constellations
In this part, I’ll go over every Alyosha constellation and give each one a value. The value is based on the constellation’s effect and placement. Here’s what every value means:

The constellation barely adds anything. Skip it. |

|
Low |
The constellation offers a slight improvement, but not enough to matter. Not recommended. |
|
Medium |
Not important on its own, but worth it as a stepping stone toward a better constellation. |
|
High |
Offers a notable improvement. Still not worth prioritizing as a milestone. |
|
Priority |
Greatly adds value. It’s worth prioritizing as a milestone if you’re building toward it. |
