Some of VR’s all-time greats are currently deeply discounted on Steam. Here are the can’t-miss deals that belong in every VR collection.

From the charming mouse Quill to mind-bending time mechanics and full-body VR boxing, these six VR classics are on sale for less than $10 each. Whether you’re just getting started or just love a good deal, there’s something here for everyone.

Moss: A Captivating Puzzle Adventure for $7.99

Moss remains one of the most approachable and magical VR games out there — an ideal starting point for anyone new to virtual reality. You step into the role of “the Reader,” guiding the courageous mouse heroine Quill through a fairy-tale world. Not only do you control Quill as she wields her sword, but you also interact directly with the environment as a supernatural presence, clearing obstacles and solving puzzles along the way.

The lush, diorama-style environments are meticulously crafted and reward your curiosity as you explore. The German voice cast is outstanding, adding to the rich sense of immersion. With a staggering 94% positive rating on Steam, Moss stands as one of VR’s most beloved titles.

Moss: Book II – A Worthy Sequel for $9.99

Quill returns — and this time, she’s being hunted. In the direct follow-up to the VR hit, you once again join the resilient mouse on an enchanting quest, now tasked with retrieving five legendary relics to fend off the sinister “Mysterious Ones” and save her world.

Moss: Book II smartly refines and expands on the original formula. New abilities like dashing across gaps and growing vines shake up the gameplay, while more intricate puzzles and varied combat keep things fresh. With roughly seven hours of playtime, the sequel serves up even more content than the first.

The atmosphere remains as magical as ever, featuring vivid environments and heartfelt interactions with Quill. The narration by Marianne Graffam in the German version once again shines. With a near-perfect 99% positive rating on Steam, Moss: Book II is simply a must-play for VR fans.

    A Fisherman’s Tale 2: Recursive Puzzle Magic for $9.99

A Fisherman’s Tale 2, the sequel to the acclaimed VR puzzler, drops you into a poetic narrative with genuinely inventive VR mechanics. The twist: your own body becomes the puzzle. You’ll detach and control your limbs, even discovering new body parts along the way, to solve the game’s clever challenges.

You’ll uncover the story of Nina, experiencing her childhood as you unravel the secrets of Bob’s past. The world is built from vibrant diorama models in Nina’s mother’s basement, waiting to be explored. Thanks to its unique recursion logic—you’ll see yourself as both tiny and gigantic at once—the game offers up some truly mind-bending puzzles.

While Another Fisherman’s Tale isn’t the longest experience out there, its dense, cinematic feel and fairy-tale vibe more than make up for it. The game is fully playable in German and boasts an 88% positive rating from Steam users.

SUPERHOT VR: Time-Bending Action for $9.99

Superhot VR transforms the cult shooter into an unforgettable virtual reality experience where time only moves when you do. In this brilliantly stylized action game—with its iconic white environments and red enemies—precision and slow-motion choreography are the order of the day.

The core mechanic is deceptively simple: stand still, and time stops; move, and everything whirs back to life—including your foes. You’ll snatch weapons from enemies, aim carefully, and use your entire body to dodge, duck, and weave through a barrage of bullets. This “Matrix-style ballet” feels uniquely satisfying in VR, perfectly showcasing what the medium can do.

With a main campaign lasting two to three hours, Superhot VR serves up focused, replayable fun, bolstered by high-score and endless modes. The game has racked up plenty of accolades, including the DICE Award for Immersive Reality Game of the Year 2017. An 82% positive Steam rating cements its status as a VR staple.

The Thrill of the Fight: Real-Deal VR Boxing for $9.99

The Thrill of the Fight is all about authenticity—this is VR boxing at its purest. You’ll step into the ring against a line-up of distinct opponents, each bringing their own style to the fight. The focus on realistic physics means you’ll need full-body movement and quick reflexes. It’s not just a game—it’s a legit workout.

Unlike many VR titles, The Thrill of the Fight ditches joystick locomotion entirely. You physically move around your play space, bob, weave, jab, and block, making it one of the most demanding VR fitness experiences out there. Training modes like heavy bag, speedball, and dummy drills help you hone your technique.

At under 10 euros, it’s a steal—and there’s more to come, with The Thrill of the Fight 2 already in Early Access. The original’s overwhelming 95% positive Steam rating says it all: this is a must-have for fitness junkies and VR fans alike.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 2 – Survival Horror for the Brave

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution is a must for fans of the comics and TV series alike. This follow-up to the acclaimed zombie survival adventure drops you back into the chaos of New Orleans, where you’ll face not just the undead, but rival human factions as well.

The game sticks to its winning formula: you’ll scavenge resources, craft weapons, and make tough moral choices that alter the course of your story—all within tightly designed, yet open environments. New this time is the option to venture out at night, upping the tension with increased zombie threats.

The physicality is no joke. In high-pressure moments, you’ll be reloading weapons by hand, dispatching zombies with precise headshots, and—thanks to the addition of the chainsaw—unleashing some grisly carnage.
