Sung Jinwoo is the main hero of Solo Leveling, and as such, is the one most frequently in the limelight. At the beginning of the story, Jinwoo was the weakest Hunter in the world, but the Double Dungeon Incident changed his life forever. After gaining unlimited potential, Jinwoo set out to test his limits.
Throughout the two seasons of Solo Leveling, the hero has faced many noteworthy enemies. However, not all of them have managed to test his skills. Some of them failed to even make a dent in his armor, while others pushed him to the edge.

Solo Leveling: 14 Best Female Characters, Ranked
Solo Leveling is home to a vast collection of great characters. Here are the best women who feature throughout the anime and manhwa.
8
Jinwoo vs. Kasaka
Kasaka was one of the first characters who had the pleasure of testing Jinwoo’s power, and the ginormous reptile had sturdy scales that stopped almost all the hero’s attacks. Jinwoo was then forced to shift his tactics. However, even then, Kasaka kept him on his toes until the very end. Ultimately, Jinwoo utilized his brute strength to crush the snake.

Jinwoo vs. Cerberus
The Cerberus is among the most well-known mythological creatures, so it’s not too surprising that the three-headed dog was also included in Solo Leveling. Sung Jinwoo faced the Cerberus en route to the Demon Castle. The beast guarded the door, so Jinwoo had no other choice but to fight it. Unlike most battles during which the hero had the upper hand, this was one of the few times when Jinwoo came close to his end. In the end, Jinwoo prevailed, but it was a reality check.
8 Most Brutal Fights In Solo Leveling, Ranked
The fights in Solo Leveling are spectacles that must be seen to be believed, but they can also be very brutal, especially in the case of these fights.

Jinwoo vs. Kargalgan
Kargalgan was a high orc shaman who, like all magical creatures, had a predisposition to hate human beings. When Jinwoo met Kargalgan, it was quite obvious that the fight between them was going to be special.
The shaman used his powerful magic in an attempt to crush Jinwoo, but the hero was simply too strong for him. After a brief altercation, Jinwoo successfully killed Kargalgan and then took him as a shadow.
5
Jinwoo vs. Baruka
Baruka was one of the first enemies that Jinwoo fought in Solo Leveling Season 2. He was an Ice Elf who was dead set on killing everyone who was trapped inside the gate. Sung Jinwoo was the only person who was capable of even laying a finger on him.
However, even he was struggling against Baruka. The Ice Elf’s speed, in particular, caused a multitude of problems. For this reason, Jinwoo had to change his approach and employ stealth and deception to win.
4
Jinwoovs. Stone Statues
Jinwoo didn’t actually fight the Stone Statues like he did the rest of the characters on the list, but it is too important for an event to be overlooked. Jinwoo faced the Stone Statues in the Double Dungeon, during which he and the rest of the Hunters unwittingly walked into the trap, causing them to be attacked by the Stone Statues in the room. Countless Hunters fell prey to the statues, and all of them would likely have died if not for Jinwoo.
The hero used his intelligence to save the lives of others. He was also able to survive, which led to him becoming the person with unlimited potential.
3
Jinwoo vs. Igris
After Jinwoo had gotten the hang of his newfound powers, he was put through a stern test, which involved fighting Igris. The fight took place when Jinwoo was doing the job change quest. Up until then, the hero had the upper hand in most of the fights, or he was at least evenly matched.
However, Jinwoo was at a significant disadvantage against Igris. The latter was superior in terms of speed, strength, and stamina. In almost every other situation, Jinwoo would have died, but he survived thanks to Igris dropping his sword. This allowed the hero to reduce the deficit and take the win.

Jinwoo vs. Beru
The Jeju Island arc features some of the most heart-throbbing action in the entire anime. In the arc, several Korean and Japanese S-rank Hunters made their way to Jeju Island to exterminate all the ants on the island. Initially, their plan was going well, but Beru’s arrival changed everything. The Ant King slaughtered almost every Japanese Hunter, after which he turned his attention towards the Korean entourage.
Fortunately, before Beru could do the same to the Korean Hunters, Jinwoo stopped him. Despite Beru’s immense power, he couldn’t do much against Jinwoo. He did poison him, but that didn’t stop the hero for long. Subsequently, Jinwoo pummeled Beru and saved his fellow Hunters from annihilation.

Jinwoo vs. Demon King Baran
Sung Jinwoo met Demon King Baran while he was searching for the cure to his mother’s illness. After beating several magical beasts, Jinwoo arrived on the 100th floor of the Demon Castle, where he faced Baran.
Without wasting any time, the two got embroiled in a bitter tussle. Jinwoo was weaker than Baran, so he had to be extremely careful around the enemy, as even one wrong move could mean certain death. The two kept fighting for an extended period of time, and it looked like Jinwoo would taste defeat and lose his life. Thankfully, Esil was in the vicinity, and she risked her life to distract Baran, allowing Jinwoo to land a lethal blow. This ended the fight and enabled him to collect the final ingredient for the cure.
