Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
Tanjiro Kamado lives in the mountains alongside his mother and siblings. Following the death of his father, Tanjiro takes on the duty of supporting his loved ones. Jujutsu Kaisen

Everything, from the characters and their mannerisms to the beautifully crafted environments and spectacular battle sequences, looks top-tier. The first part of season 3 is winding down, so now is a great time to check it out.
Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works
The city of Fuyuki is the host site for the Fifth Holy Grail War, a deadly competition between seven mages and Heroic Spirits called Servants, who the mages use to fight for them in the conflict. Young mage Rin Tohsaka enters the competition alongside her Servant, Archer. But when Rin’s unwitting classmate, Shirou Emiya, gets dragged into the world of magic, things get complicated.
It might be one of the older series on this list, but Unlimited Blade Works still looks amazing. Ufotable has done some incredible things with Demon Slayer in recent years, and you can see a lot of that top-quality attention to detail in UBW. Ufotable went on to adapt another of the visual novel’s three routes, Heaven’s Feel, into a movie trilogy that gives Unlimited Blade Works a run for its money with some beautiful cinematic visuals. Now, if they could only get to adapting the Fate route.
Monogatari Series
Koyomi Araragi seems like a normal high school student, but he’s anything but. After being turned into a vampire during his spring break, Araragi constantly finds himself dealing with ‘oddities’, supernatural phenomena that attach themselves to ordinary people around him. The Monogatari Series follows Araragi as he meets different people affected by these strange phenomena and sets out to help them.
It might not have the kind of explosive visuals you’ll get from the bigger shonen titles, but the Monogatari Series is one of the most visually stunning anime you’ll watch. The abstract, avant-garde visuals and incredible art direction give the series a unique feel that no other series can replicate.
Dandadan
After Momo Ayase breaks up with her boyfriend, she befriends Ken Takakura, an outcast who is obsessed with aliens and UFOs. Ken initially believes that Momo shares his interest, but she surprises him when she reveals that she’s a big believer in the supernatural. Both Momo and Ken reject the other’s belief, but when the two set out to prove the other wrong, they’re dragged into the world of the occult and paranormal happenings.
Dandadan gets a lot of love, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like enough. The main cast is great, with Momo and Ken standing out as two of the most likable shonen leads we’ve seen in a while. Science Saru might not be a studio many are familiar with, but the quality of their work speaks for itself. Dandadan is a visually stunning anime, with amazing flat colors and incredibly fluid animation that’s up there with titles like Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen.
