Updated: Citing market conditions, Beamable has delayed its BMB launch sale until Tuesday 11th November. However the token will still go live on 12th November.
Decentralized gaming infrastructure DePIN project Beamable has announced it will be launching the public presale for its BMB token on Solana via the onchain Metaplex Genesis platform starting on 6th November.
Interested parties can sign up for the allowlist and also suggest how large an allocation of tokens they would like via a presale form until 30th October.
As well as its token, Beamable also plans to sell Checker Node NFTs that will underpin its decentralized gaming infrastructure, enabling node operators to earn onchain revenue from the transactions carried out by the Beamable Network, including matchmaking, player sessions, events and online purchases.
Already in use by web2 and web3 gaming including Star Trek Timelines, Doctor Who: Lost in Time, FIFA Rivals and Pudgy Party, Beamable claims its network currently supports around 100 titles, 2.5 million monthly players, and almost 11 billion API calls every month.
“For DePIN to matter, it has to serve real industries. With Metaplex Genesis, we’re proving that decentralized systems can power the world’s biggest entertainment industry and reward every contributor along the way. It’s the first time game infrastructure becomes an open, onchain economy,” commented Beamable’s CEO Jon Radoff.
