    Summary

    • Musical Vibes RX launches June 11, 2025, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
    • Energetic choreography, multiple gameplay modes, and local multiplayer.
    • Use your phone camera to dance with the free iOS and Android Musical Vibes Camera app..

When I first released Musical Vibes in June 2023, my dream was to make dance games more accessible, fun, and physically engaging for everyone. The biggest challenge was figuring out how to turn everyday technology—like your phone—into a gateway to dance. That’s why I’m thrilled to introduce Musical Vibes RX, the high-energy sequel that builds on everything players loved about the original, launching June 11, 2025 on Xbox and PC.

Dance Using Just Your Smartphone Camera

What sets Musical Vibes RX apart is how simple it is to jump in and move. By downloading the free Musical Vibes Camera app on your iOS or Android phone, you can track your body movements and start dancing in front of your TV without any extra hardware.

Once your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your console or PC, scan the QR code that appears in-game and you’re ready to go. It’s as easy as that.

    Energy, Expression, and Rhythm

Musical Vibes RX features a lineup of high-tempo tracks, dynamic choreography, and vibrant avatars to dance along with. Each routine is designed with help from real-world choreographers, bringing authenticity and flair to every move.

As someone who loves to dance myself, working closely with choreographers during development was one of the most rewarding parts of the process. Their input helped shape a game that feels both exciting and true to the art of dance.

Multiplayer and Modes to Get You Moving

Whether you’re dancing solo or turning your living room into a party, Musical Vibes RX has something for everyone. There are two main gameplay modes:

    • Dance Mode: Use your smartphone camera to mirror choreography as accurately as possible.
    • Rhythm Mode: Play using a controller and hit beats with precision, similar to classic rhythm games.

Local multiplayer is supported in both modes—using a single smartphone camera in Dance Mode or two controllers in Rhythm Mode.

A Game That Moves with You

We’ve designed Musical Vibes RX with a sleek, urban-inspired UI and flexible motion tracking. There’s no need for extra gear, no subscription, and no barrier to entry. Just sync your phone, choose a song, and move.

    Make it Your Dance Experience

Musical Vibes RX is all about movement, expression—and making the game your own. Before hitting the stage, you can customize your dancer avatar with a variety of outfits and styles. Whether you want to look sleek, bold, sporty, or completely outrageous, the wardrobe is ready to match your vibe.Once you’re dressed to impress, you’ll pick your stage. The game features a range of venues to perform in, from neon-lit dance studios to outdoor arenas, each featuring effects that respond to the beat. It’s your show—set the scene your way.

    Light up Your Dance Sessions

You can even sync your smart lights with the game! Musical Vibes RX supports Philips Hue lighting, which means your living room can pulse, flash, and glow in time with the beat. It’s a small detail that adds a huge wow factor when you’re performing your favorite tracks, especially during parties or multiplayer sessions.

Built for Players of All Levels

Whether you’re a rhythm game pro or a beginner just looking to move and have fun, Musical Vibes RX has a mode for you. Difficulty options (Easy, Normal, Hard) let you choose your pace, and visual feedback helps you stay on beat and improve over time.

There’s even a calorie tracker for those who want to mix fitness with fun.

And if you’re playing on console, the menus are fully optimized for controller navigation—but you can also use hand motions tracked by your phone to swipe and select, making the whole experience more intuitive.

    Where to Get It

You can download Musical Vibes RX starting June 11, 2025 onXbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via the Microsoft Store. Wishlist or pre-order the game today on the Microsoft Store to be ready for launch day.

Whether you’re a returning player from the original Musical Vibes or discovering the franchise for the first time, I hope this game inspires you to get up, get moving, and have a blast doing it.

See you on the dance floor.
