Idea Factory International announced it will port Cupid Parasite, its otome game about the goddess of love Cupid working at a dating and wedding agency who works with eligible misfits, for PCs and release it on Steam. The product page is now live. There’s no exact release date beyond a 2026 window yet.
Cupid Parasite is set in a world in which gods are real. Cupid is the Goddess of Love, and she’s currently on earth working as a Bridal Advisor for the company Cupid Corporation under the alias Lynette Mirror in order to help do her job. Part of her role involves matchmaking and advising clients. Because of her success rate, she’s tasked with working on the Parasite 5, a group of five men who seem hopeless. Among them are her friend Gill and the president of Cupid Corp itself, Shelby. Since this is a romantic comedy, it also ends up turning into a reality show that she herself becomes part of. Naturally, it means all of the (very flawed) men are also romance options for Lynette.
Here’s the first trailer for the PC release:
And a number of screenshots are already available showing what to expect.

As part of the announcement, Idea Factory International confirmed it’s been eight years since it released an otome game for the PC via Steam. The last two were the pair Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds and Edo Blossoms. Since then, it’s been focusing on Switch releases. Cupid Parasite itself last appeared on the Switch in December 2021, with its fan disc follow-up Sweet and Spicy Darlingshowing up a few years later worldwide in May 2024.
Cupid Parasite will come to the PC via Steam in 2026, and the otome game is already available on the Switch worldwide.
