During BitSummit Punch 2026, Inti Creates announced two games. One is the returning Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced, which is coming to the Switch 2 in 2026 and includes a new GX mode. (Said mode will show up on the PS5 and PC too.) The other is the entirely new Copen adventure Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3 for the Switch 2 and PC. That will launch in 2027.
First, here’s the official trailer and announcement for Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced. As with the past versions, it gives us access to all three games in that series and their add-ons. The Switch 2 version will feature higher framerate and resolution. The video actually focuses on the new Azure Striker Gunvolt GX Mode with Copen and Gunvolt, showing how we can switch between the two as we face the Primal Dragons.
Since Luminous Avenger iX 3 is earlier in development, there are a few details about it out now. We do know Copen uses twin Divide Edge blades to fight. After Copen meets a young woman who warns him about X-Bearer invaders, he again jumps into the fight to continue to protect people.
Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced will come to the Switch 2 in 2026, and its Azure Striker Gunvolt GX Mode will show up on the PS5 and PC this year too. Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 3 will appear on the Switch 2 and PC in 2027.
