Hardest Survival Island
If you’re looking for a challenge, there’s no better seed than this nearly impossible survival island. The island itself is made up of a Stony Shores biome, so you won’t have access to any wood for tools. Instead, you’ll need to swim a few hundred blocks to either the northeast or southwest to strip shipwrecks of their planks. Use the resources gained from the wreckage to expand your survival island and build routes to more shipwrecks and ocean ruins.

Ancient City Mineshaft
An Ancient City will always be one of the most resource-filled structures in Minecraft. This seed takes it a step further by hanging a mineshaft above one of its Ancient Cities, giving you access to even more riches. Carry a bucket of water while exploring the mineshaft to maneuver between it and the city. Additionally, you can use the city’s lake of lava to gather obsidian for a Nether portal.

Three Cherry Villages

This world begins a few blocks north of a large Cherry Grove biome. Entering the biome gives you easy access to bees and passive mobs while the areas around it contain three Plains Villages. These resources will help you explore the ruined Nether portal in the third village, as you’ll need the pickaxe to destroy a few Crying Obsidian blocks so they can be replaced with the obsidian in the portal’s chest.

Woodland Mansion at Spawn
Seeds like this are the best way to explore Minecraft’s rare Woodland Mansion structure. This Mansion is just 70 blocks from Spawn, which is only about a one or two-minute walk in-game. It is home to a single hidden room, which you’ll find behind another room on the third floor. Head south after raiding the Mansion to find a Plains Village with a ruined Nether portal and an Ancient City. This set of structures is perfect for survival players because it’ll provide you with rare resources to craft strong weapons and armor right after spawning into the world.

Warm Jungle Ruins

Sniffers are one of the most difficult mobs to obtain in Minecraft because their eggs can only be found by brushing Suspicious Sand in Warm Ocean Ruins. To make matters more difficult, there is only a 1 in 15 chance for Suspicious Sand to contain these eggs. Players determined to fight the odds and get their own Sniffer will enjoy this seed. There are three clusters of Warm Ocean Ruins between Spawn and a Jungle island to the southwest. Additionally, there are plenty of single Warm Ocean Ruins near a Mushroom Island to the north. With so many chances, you’re sure to get at least one Sniffer to keep as a pet.

Tall Trail Ruins
Archaeology was a large part of the Trails and Tails update, so you’ll need at least one Trail Ruins seed in your arsenal. In this world, you’ll spawn into a mix of Taiga and Snowy Taiga biomes with two Trail Ruins structures. The first is tall and rises from a Snowy Taiga hill while the second is closer to the ground in a normal Taiga. You’ll also come across an igloo with a basement near the first set of ruins and a Taiga Village.

Desert Temple home
A Desert Temple collided with a Desert Village while this world was generated. It has caused one of the village’s homes to merge with the temple on the outside, although you won’t see it from inside. However, you will see the villagers who used to live inside the home fleeing from the temple when you arrive in the village. You’ll need to be extra careful when heading down to the temple’s treasure room so you don’t accidentally blow up the town or its inhabitants.

Warm Ocean Ruins
Warm Ocean Ruins are the only place in Minecraft where you can find Sniffer Eggs. To give you the best chance to find them, this seed starts next to a Warm Ocean with multiple clusters of Warm Ocean Ruins. The Warm Ocean continues to the west, so you’ll have even more opportunities to excavate similar ruins if you don’t find Eggs in the first three. You’ll also have access to a few Cold Ocean Ruins as you travel north in the ocean.

Visiting this Taiga is an easy way to explore a lot of what Minecraft 1.20 has to offer! The village and Pillager Outpost will help you gather resources and experience, the ruined portal can be rebuilt to visit the Nether, and the Trail Ruins will help you learn how to excavate. This area isn’t far from the ocean, so you’ll have relatively easy access to Cold Ocean Ruins and a Mushroom Island as well.

Half Desert island
This lush survival island is home to both a Jungle and a Desert. The Jungle side of the island has a chest of buried treasure, while the Desert side has a village and a Pillager Outpost. What is really unique is the way that the Pillager Outpost is on a tiny adjacent island rather than being connected directly to the main island. It demonstrates how unusually Minecraft can distribute structures, creating the opportunity for exciting gameplay scenarios.

Lake village in Cherry Grove
A lake has formed in the crater at the center of this Cherry Grove. The Plains Village in the same area has partially fallen into the lake, creating a unique town. If you want to explore more around the mountain, you can find a Zombified Plains Village and a second Plains Village on the outskirts of the Cherry Grove. You’ll also find an Ancient City beneath the grove’s southern part.

Towering Ocean Mansion
Spawning directly onto a Woodland Mansion is already a rare treat most players won’t discover naturally. This seed takes it up another notch by having the starting Mansion generate on a tiny Dark Forest island in the middle of the ocean. A few pieces of the island are below the Mansion, but the majority of it towers over a corner of the Mansion. You can take the opportunity to explore the Mansion immediately or climb the tall portion of the island to gather wood. Whichever you decide, you’ll have the chance to play Minecraft in an entirely different way than you usually would.
