Riot Games has announced that the VALORANT Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Grand Finals will return to Istanbul, Türkiye, for the third year running.
The live event will take place at the ESA Esports Arena on August 30, where the region’s best teams will battle for the title and secure their place at the VALORANT Game Changers Championship, set to take place later this year.
Istanbul Hosts Another Major Game Changers Event
Following two successful years in the city, Istanbul will once again become the centre of the Game Changers EMEA scene. The ESA Esports Arena will host the Stage 3 Grand Finals, with ESA returning as the tournament organiser.
The match will determine which teams earn the honour of representing the EMEA region at the global VALORANT Game Changers Championship this November.
Official VCT EMEA Watch Party Confirmed
In a first for the event, Riot Games has confirmed that the venue will immediately transform into an official VCT EMEA watch party once the Game Changers champion has been crowned.
The watch party will coincide with the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals taking place in Barcelona during the same weekend, giving fans in Istanbul the opportunity to celebrate both events in one location.
Fan Activities and Meet-and-Greet Opportunities
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities throughout the day, including opportunities to win prizes, meet content creators, and connect with Game Changers EMEA players before the grand final begins.
The event aims to create a festival atmosphere for VALORANT fans while showcasing some of the region’s top competitive talent.
Tickets Available in August
Fans looking to attend the event can mark their calendars, as tickets for both the Grand Final and the official watch party will go on sale on August 3.
Riot Games on Returning to Istanbul
Speaking about the announcement, Tomek, Esports Product Manager for VALORANT Esports EMEA, highlighted the importance of Istanbul within the Game Changers community.
He noted that the city has been home to some of the most memorable moments in Game Changers EMEA history over the last two years and expressed excitement about expanding the experience with an official VCT EMEA watch party, bringing fans together for a full day of VALORANT esports action.
