This was one of the hardest crosswords I have done in a long time, thanks to the italicized clues. Those hints are extremely obscure and still puzzling well after you figure them out.
I found myself cringing every time I saw those slanting words creeping up on me in the hints section, but it was very satisfying finally figuring them out! Just don’t ask me how long it took…
