Square Enix kicked off the recurring Final Fantasy XIV Make It Rain Campaign again in the MMORPG and added two types of Senior Otter items for FFXIV players to earn. The event is running until June 24, 2026. As usual, there’s a special quest and other Gold Saucer Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) discounts in effect as a result of the promotion. All subscribers can take part.
It’s easy to begin the 2026 Make It Rain Campaign questline in FFXIV, since the only barriers to entry are hitting level 15, reaching Ul’dah: Steps of Nald, and finishing the Ul’dah sidequest “It Could Happen to You” that unlocks access to The Gold Saucer. If you’ve done all that, you can meet with Ollier at X:9.4, Y:9.1 in Ul’dah. He’ll get you started with “You Otter Be There.”
There are five rewards to pick up this time. Three are furnishings for player homes based on past FFXIV Make It Rain Campaign promotional art. These are the two MMXXIV and MMXXV wall-mounted advertisements and MMXXV tabletop one. People can also get a Senior Otter Pack backpack fashion accessory to wear and a Senior Otter minion.

As for the returning MGP changes, they’re fairly typical. It’s cheapter than usual to access Crystal Tower striker, Cuff-a-Cur, and Monster Toss. MGP rewards will be 50% higher. Past event items are back both at the Gold Saucer event attendant and via the online store.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and the Make It Rain Campaign with Senior Otter items is in FFXIV until June 24, 2026. The game will come to the Switch 2 in August 2026. An Evercold expansion will launch in January 2027.
