Atari and Digital Eclipse announced their next two projects are Toy Story video games. Both Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition will be out on October 15, 2026. Each one will be on the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. However, physical copies will only be available for the Switch, Switch 2, and PS5. This comes ahead of the fifth movie’s debut on June 19, 2026.
In the case of the Retro Roundup, that’s a collection of six titles. Five of the games are based on Toy Story movies. The other is another Pixar title, A Bug’s Life. So someone gets Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue, and the spin-offs Toy Story Racer and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. New features include a Practice Mode, Rex’s cheat codes, rewind capabilities, save states, and improved resolutions. Development featurettes are also present.
Meanwhile, Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is an ultimate release of that game. It features 60fps and 4K resolution. There’s also a Toy Box Mode in addition to the main campaign.
There’s an official trailer also showing what to expect from these rereleases as well.
One of Atari’s last releases involved more Disney titles. It brought Disney Afternoon Collection to the Switch in 2026. That added two new games to the compilation.
The Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3 Complete Edition games will come to the Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on October 15, 2026.
