Pokemon GO offers players a wide range of ever-changing and rotating events, both in the form of recurring opportunities as well as one-off specialized events and celebrations. One such event is the Summer Concert, which is taking place in July 2025 as part of the Delightful Days Season.
Summer Concert has a handful of different Research Tasks, each of which offer players rewards such as encounters with special featured Pokemon, as well as bonus effects from Lure Modules, and increased shiny odds for certain monsters to potentially raise the rates of lucky chance encounters. If you’re looking to participate in this three-day opportunity, everything you need to know in order to get the most out of the Summer Concert event has been outlined in the guide below.

Pokemon GO Summer Concert Event Guide
The Summer Concert event is taking place in Pokemon GO between June 19, 2025, at 5 PM local time, until June 22, 2025, at 8 PM local time. This event is themed around music, celebrating Pokemon game series music composer Junichi Masuda, and provides an opportunity for players to experience unique background music when playing the game between the hours of 5 PM – 8 PM local time on each day of the event.
In addition to this, the wild Lure spawns during this event feature Pokemon that carry musical concepts—such as Jigglypuff, Kricketot, and Chatot—and there are multiple event bonuses that players can use to their advantage during this time. Each one of these event bonuses has been detailed below:
Pokemon GO Summer Concert Event Bonuses
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for one hour.
- Lure Modules will attract specific Pokemon during the event.
- Increased chance to encounter Shiny Chatot at PokeStops with active Lure Modules.
In addition to these bonuses, players can also complete a series of Research Tasks to earn rewards. During Summer Concert, there are eight Research Tasks total, but they all require the same action, meaning players can repeat the process across these three days to farm the reward encounters. Each Task completed will earn players an encounter with a different Spinda, giving them a chance to collect every main pattern.
In Pokemon GO, Spinda has nine different forms that players can obtain—eight main forms, and the special heart pattern form. Each one of these Spinda forms showcases a different pattern of spots across Spinda’s face and body. These forms are rotated for availability every few months, and are often featured as special rewards in event Research Tasks, much like the Summer Festival. During the Summer Festival, Heart Pattern Spinda will not be available, but all other patterns are featured as Research Task rewards.
