October 13, 2025 – Gentex Corporation, a provider of integrated helmet systems and communications solutions, has today announced an expanded partnership with Anduril Industries to develop EagleEye, an AI-enabled integrated family of warfighter systems.
The EagleEye platform is designed to deliver mission command, situational awareness, and survivability features directly within a headborne system for military personnel, and builds on the U.S. Army’s Soldier Borne Mission Command (SBMC) program.
Gentex supplies advanced helmet and communications integration for SBMC and supports the Army’s modular mixed-reality command architecture by embedding command, control, and AI-driven situational awareness directly into the helmet platform to create a digital mission command framework that connects soldiers to tactical networks.
Through the partnership with Anduril, Gentex stated that it will merge its own expertise in integrated protection, communications, and optical technologies with Anduril’s advanced mission command software, heads-up display (HUD) technologies, and distributed sensing capabilities.
Combined, the capabilities of the EagleEye system will help to reduce weight and cognitive load for warfighters while enhancing survivability and decision-making in operational environments, according to the company.

Frieder III, President and CEO, Gentex Corporation. “EagleEye expands on that vision by integrating command, control, and AI-driven situational awareness directly into the protective system. The platform is a natural extension of our mission to keep soldiers protected, connected, and fully mission-ready in today’s complex battlespace.”
The company added that by embedding command and control (C2) capabilities and digital vision technologies directly into the warfighter’s protective gear, it is effectively bringing the network to the edge and empowering the individual operator.
Gentex stated that it has decades of experience designing and manufacturing headborne systems for the U.S. Department of Defense and allied forces worldwide, and that its systems are fielded across multiple U.S. Army and Air Force programs.
The company will be showcasing its involvement in the EagleEye program and other soldier modernization initiatives this week at the 2025 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C.
