The HL2 mod Entropy: Zero is getting a VR version based on the popular Half-Life 2: VR Mod.
FACTS
The Half-Life 2 mod Entropy: Zero is set to receive a major update, which will also introduce a VR mode.
The original mod developer, Breadman, has promised improvements in gameplay and graphics, numerous bug fixes, and potentially limited new content.
The VR mode is being developed by modder 1upD based on the successful Half-Life 2: VR Mod. 1upD is supported by the Source VR Mod Team—the developers behind Half-Life 2: VR Mod.
A release date for the update has not yet been announced. As of now, the VR mod is planned to be released as free DLC for Entropy: Zero, although this may still change.
Bringing the more ambitious Entropy: Zero 2 to VR presents a “much larger challenge”, Breadmans writes on ModDB. “I hope we will get there eventually, but EZ1VR is the first step forward on a long journey towards that goal.”
Entropy: Zero is available on Steam and requires Half-Life 2 and Episodes One and Two to play.

What is Entropy: Zero?
In Entropy: Zero VR, you switch sides and take on the role of a Combine soldier stranded in City 10. The story unfolds eleven months before the arrival of Gordon Freeman, and prior to the fall of City 17.
Your mission is to unleash the brutality and chaos of the Combine regime on a hidden rebel sanctuary in City 10. Across four chapters, you’ll battle through rebel shanties, infested tunnels, and subway systems. To survive, you must endure the deadly Combine plague and reclaim the critical stronghold known as “Pillar 10.”
As a ruthless Combine soldier, you wield a stunstick, deploy manhacks, and carry a prototype AR2 pulse rifle.
Entropy: Zero VR was released in 2017 and has garnered over 11,000 “Very Positive” reviews on Steam.
