Visual Concepts and 2K have unveiled the new DLC coming to WWE 2K26 to commemorate WrestleMania 42, paying homage to one of the biggest events of the year for WWE. The WWE 2K26 DLC pack features variants of three WWE Superstars, including Cody Rhodes and Alexa Bliss, and two new arenas.
The newest entry in the annual wrestling franchise includes plenty for both old and new fans of the promotion. WWE 2K26 boasts an expansive roster of more than 400 different characters to choose from, ranging from modern stars, like Roman Reigns and Jey Uso, to all-time legends, such as Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. The game also pushed big changes to some of the WWE 2K franchise’s most popular game modes, including a new story for the MyRise game mode and the addition of the WWE Draft to Universe Mode. Now, WWE 2K26 is honoring its biggest annual event with brand-new DLC content.
WWE 2K26’s WrestleMania DLC Includes New Character Variants and Arenas
WWE 2K26 officially teased some of the new content coming with its WrestleMania 42 DLC. Visual Concepts will add a pair of new arenas to the game with the WrestleMania DLC, featuring both the Night 1 and Night 2 designs of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. Three variants of some of WWE’s most popular stars will also be added to the game, with new versions of Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan all coming as part of the DLC. Liv Morgan’s WrestleMania 42 variant will also include her new entrance theme, “Trouble,” which she debuted at the event. WWE 2K26‘s WrestleMania DLC is scheduled to release on August 19, available for $9.99.

The WrestleMania 42 DLC highlights some of the most important stories from the WWE’s biggest annual event. The main event of Night 1 saw Cody Rhodes defending the SmackDown Undisputed WWE Championship against fan-favorite WWE star Randy Orton, with Rhodes retaining the title. Alexa Bliss appeared in a Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Championship alongside tag team partner Charlotte Flair during Night 1, though the pair ultimately lost to the team of Brie Bella and Paige. Liv Morgan was also involved in a title bout of her own during WrestleMania 42, defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the Raw Women’s Championship.

WWE 2K26 has been bringing fans plenty of unique DLC content throughout recent weeks, with several unexpected roster additions. Ringside Pass Season 3’s release in June 2026 welcomed the unexpected debut of Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick as a playable character, available as a surprise inclusion to the battle pass. A new variant of beloved women’s wrestler Trish Stratus is expected to officially debut as part of Ringside Pass Season 4, based on her appearance from her WWE debut in 2000.
WWE 2K26 looks to keep fans engaged throughout its future Ringside Passes, with a plethora of popular wrestlers being added to the game. Alongside the previously-mentioned Trish Stratus variant, Ringside Pass Season 4’s launch on July 22 will bring the release of fan-favorite tag team The Hardy Boyz, with both Jeff and Matt Hardy joining the game. Some of WWE’s newest superstars will also make their first appearance in the WWE 2K franchise as DLC in later seasons, including Danhausen debuting in Season 5 and Royce Keys in Season 6. WWE 2K26‘s playable cast continues to grow bigger with each passing season, and fans should have lots to look forward from its next roster additions.
