NYT Crossword answers: Sunday October 12th 2025
Done figuring it all out for yourself? Here’s the full completed NYT Crossword showing all the answers for today’s puzzle:

And there it is! The Sunday 12th of October crossword in all of its glory! If you made it this far, give yourself a pat on the back. That was a mammoth effort. Don’t even get me started on 90d!
This puzzle was definitely an advanced one. Not only did it have several almost-extinct words, but it also had whole sections of words cut out, as shown by the small scissor icons. That makes coming up with the solution far more difficult! Once you figure out the pattern, however, it can make it easier. These scissors represent the letters ‘once’, for example. So once you figure that out, it kind of counts as another clue!
That’s all for today’s puzzle, but if you like to keep your brain active with more of NYT’s puzzles, you can also check out our guides on the Wordle hint and answer for Sunday 12th October and our Connections hint for Sunday 12th October.
