Set to premiere worldwide on Prime Video August 27, “Dark Wolf” is the hugely awaited prequel to “The Terminal List” and has already generated a buzz among viewers. Supposed to be a gritty origin story, the prequel is speculated to dig deeper into the background of the much-loved character, this time played by its lead actor Taylor Kitsch. The poster sets the expectations: dark, intense, and action-packed, with Kitsch looking rugged and resolute alongside a few other somber-faced characters.

One of the fans spilled out that season one was “very very very good,” and they could hardly wait for the sequel. Another user stated Kitsch is “an underrated actor,” to which another simply responded, “FACTS!” Far from being new, his public recognition, or loss thereof, soared high due to his excellent performance in “American Primeval,” and the audience is more than ready for his big time.
It has been sore for fans of the whole prequel setup. One commentator stated, “Wish they would have just gone with the source material. The prequel is a dumb idea.” Another made the suggestion with some disdain: “Why not make a new story about him moving forward?” Fair enough, but sometimes prequels bridge some gaps that fans never actually realized they wanted bridged.
One or two always drops a mention of Chris Pratt because, really, his absence is conspicuously obvious. A fan almost boldly quipped, “Chris Pratt won’t be lead character?” while another channelled their adulation for Pratt with endless heart-eye emojis. Pratt’s towering presence, however, is fairly balanced with Kitsch holding the torch.
Of course, there was somebody who simply had to moan about the platform choice. “Ugggg why on Amazon! I don’t have Amazon!!!” cried one viewer, and so goes the war of streaming. But with the show almost here, one-fan-from-another-forum shouted, “We are so back!”
With the show’s dark cinematic visual and gripping premise, the audience has certainly been sold. Gladly, action or cast or just bare-noise about Terminal List universe lore—the 27th of August could not possibly come soon enough.

And for the doubters, a fan just said, “The cast is 🔥🔥.” That is impossible to argue against.
