PS5 DualSense Controller Keychains Include 6 Colors

Takara Tomy announced it will release a collection of PlayStation controller keychains for gacha machines in Japan, and it will focus on the PS5 DualSense. They will show up in capsule machines starting in late July 2025. A try will cost 300円 (~$2) and, as usual, which one you get will be up to chance. 

This selection features six designs. Each one of the PS5 DualSense keychains will depict the PlayStation controller in a different color. The options will be Cosmic Red, Galactic Purple, Midnight Black, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and White. All of these still appear as actual color options through Sony. There is translucent plastic over the buttons to increase the resemblance. Each one has a ball-chain keychain at the top. They are each about 4cm (40mm).

This isn’t the only kind of PlayStation controller keychain coming to gachapon machines in Japan, as another set showed up in capsule machines and included a PS5 DualSense. Bandai Namco released its own collection. That debuted in May 2025. It featured five designs based on PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5 ones. Each also played startup sounds from their respective consoles when a button would be pushed. 

The Takara Tomy PS5 DualSense controller keychains will appear in gachapon machines in Japan in late July 2025. Since these aren’t Bandai Namco-made, we probably won’t see them in any of that company’s gashapon machines and storefronts in the US and Canada.
