May 26, 2026 – LaGuardia Gateway Partners (LGP), the manager and developer of Terminal B at LaGuardia Airport in New York City, has recently announced the launch of an interactive Guest Experience Ambassador Hologram at the terminal.
Named ‘Bridget’, the life-size, hyper-realistic hologram is designed to support guest service and wayfinding, and is capable of engaging travelers in natural, intuitive conversations to help them navigate the terminal seamlessly. According to LGP, Terminal B is the first airport terminal to deploy a fully interactive AI hologram built specifically for this purpose.
The system is powered by Proto’s hologram hardware platform and Holomedia’s AI Concierge Wayfinder application. Travelers can use Bridget to ask for real-time directions to gates, shops, premium lounges and baggage claim, with the hologram designed to engage passengers through natural conversations.
The Guest Experience Ambassador Hologram is intended to complement Terminal B’s existing team of human Guest Experience Ambassadors. Its features include English and Spanish language support, with more languages to come, as well as live mapping, step-by-step directions, high-contrast displays, closed captioning and a physical interface positioned for wheelchair accessibility. LGP stated that the hologram can also provide support during peak travel periods when terminal staff are assisting other guests.

The first hologram is currently located near the Terminal B Food Hall. Additional units are planned for each of the terminal’s two concourses in the near future, according to LGP.
