It took over 10 years, but another Meiji Tokyo Renka Full Moon otome game will appear in English worldwide. Following the 2024 release of the first game in the series in English on the Switch and PC, the second will show up everywhere. Meiji Tokyo Renka: Twilight Kiss will also be on the Switch and PC in 2026. It follows the events that take place after the game and anime.
As with the original game, this will be a multi-language, worldwide release of the otome visual novel. The new subtitle options will be English and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese. This will be based on the PSP game that only every appeared in Japan in 2015.
The official website is open worldwide for this sequel, but there aren’t any details about the characters or storyline yet. Those will start showing up in June 2026. The original focused on Mei, a woman brought back in time to the Meiji period who can see Mononoke due to being a Tamayori. The key art, which HuneX did share, shows that Charlie, Gori Fujita, Kyoka Izumi, Otojiro Kawakami, Ougai Mori, Syunso Hishida, and Yakumo Koizumi will again be back for this additional story with new developments for all of them.
Meiji Tokyo Renka: Twilight Kiss will come to the Switch and PC in 2026, following the Japan-exclusive PSP release. The original game is on the Switch and PC worldwide, as well as the PSP, Vita, and mobile devices in Japan. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.
