Marvel Studios seems to have stirred an ocean out of excitement with their recent H.E.R.B.I.E. post. H.E.R.B.I.E. is the much-loved robot sidekick from The Fantastic Four: First Steps. A short clip of this little robot giving a message set the crowd into frenzy, with many expressing that they loved the character and wanted to see the movie.

The post, which had a caption that simply stated, “H.E.R.B.I.E. has a message for you! Get tickets now to see The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters,” has scored thousands of engagements, thus showing that the tiny robot really has stolen the show. The clip is very short, yet the majority of it is taken up by an adorable and playful robotic sound that has elicited glowing reactions from the Marvel fans.
One user chimed, “Herbie is a legend! 💙,” and another jokes, “H.E.R.B.I.E., a man of few words 🤖💙.” This charm has resonated well with many commenting that they would swear to “protect him at all costs.” Some fans even took it further by suggesting a dream team pairing: “H.E.R.B.I.E. & Wall-E would make a great team ngl 🔥.”
There were dissenting views that used the opportunity to express their gloomy take on any future Marvel films; one comment read, “They’re posting so many ‘buy ticket’ promos—do it or we won’t get any F4 movie.” Another one pleaded, “Guys y’all need to go to your nearest theater and watch it. Do not wait for it on D+. If it continues like this there will be no Marvel.”
Let me tell you, enthusiasm was not universal. Some spewed off-topic statements like one user who insisted on promoting their self-published fantasy novel despite total irrelevance. Others had cryptic or downright silly comments: “Pi pap pue pa pi pa puee paa” (Good luck trying to figure that one out).
Yet those majority reactions were mostly outpourings of love for H.E.R.B.I.E. and anticipation for the movie going into launch, one declaring, “Seeing it tomorrow…. AGAIN. Round 3 or 4. I completely lost count. 🤣.”
With the hype surrounding the hostile-to-H.E.R.B.I.E. Titan, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, the first major big-screen adaptation of the Marvel family in almost a decade, really has the pressure of fitting that hype. If anything, the gorilla-like love toward this little bot could mean that the audience is more than ready for its return.

Whether it was credited or not, at least one thing is for sure now; H.E.R.B.I.E. really is one of the most beloved sidekics the Marvel has ever had. Sorry, Groot; there’s a little one on the block.
