In the Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer Live XCII, both Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida and Global Community Producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi revealed six Twitch chat badges we’ll be able to get for watching FFXIV Fan Fest 2026 streams. These will be tied to official Square Enix streams and participating ones tied to the MMORPG. The Lodestone also shared more detailed images of all of them.
The first giveaway will happen during the North American FFXIV Fan Festival that takes place between April 24-26, 2026. If someone watches official Square Enix Twitch streams from the event, say the Naoki Yoshida keynote, for an hour, then they will get a Main Scenario Quest Chat Badge. The Fat Cat Chat Badge is a reward if you watch any Final Fantasy XIV Online category stream participating for an hour.
The same sort of promotions will be in effect for the other two 2026 events, and they will also require an hour of viewing on certain Twitch channels. The European one takes place between July 24-26, 2026, and that nets a Content Unlock Quest Chat Badge for watching Square Enix’s official channel and a Moogle Chat Badge for watching participating ones. Things wrap up with the Japanese one between October 30, 2026 and November 1, 2026. We can earn the Alpha Chat Badge from FFXIV category streams and Quest Complete Chat Badge from the official event ones.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and each of the 2026 FFXIV Fan Festival events will also have two Twitch chat badges tied to them. A Jollibee crossover promotion will also run in April and May 2025.
