Insomniac Games and Sony confirmed the release date for Marvel’s Wolverine on social media, further pinning down the expected Fall 2026 launch. We’ll see it on September 15, 2026. It will only be available on the PS5 at launch, and there’s no word yet if we’ll eventually see it go multiplatform like developer’s Marvel’s Spider-Man titles.
The Marvel’s Wolverine release date reveal wasn’t accompanied by any new trailer for the PS5 game. We do know that it’s a title that will cover multiple periods in Logan’s life. One of the last trailers from September 2025 featured him interacting with and fighting other familiar faces like Sabertooth and Mystique. It also confirmed that in addition to brawling segments, there will be ones involving him riding and racing on his motorcycle.

This will be the third Marvel comics game from Insomniac Games. It started with Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PS4, which eventually also came to the PS5 and PC. Then there was Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. That also ended up being on all three platforms. The last game in that line was Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which appeared on the PS5 in October 2023 and PC in January 2025.
Marvel’s Wolverine is headed to the PS5, and the release date is September 15, 2026.
