Struggling to find your way in the Straight Record quest in Arc Raiders? You’re not alone! Straight Record calls for you to do a favor for Celeste by locating and shutting down an EMT Trap in a remote part of the Dam Battlegrounds. This requires you to find three hidden power switches so you can put an end to the EMT Trap for good.
Thankfully, the quest itself isn’t too hard to complete, as long as you make it to the location and don’t get swarmed by too many wasps along the way! In this walkthrough, we’ll tell you how to complete the Straight Record quest in Arc Raiders, guiding you to the EMT Trap and each of the three switches, so you can clear your mission and earn your rewards.

1. How to reach Victory Ridge
The first step in the Straight Record quest is to make your way to Victory Ridge. You will find Victory Ridge along the top of the Dam Battlegrounds map near the West Broken Bridge. Open your map and place a waypoint on the branching path just below the West Broken Bridge location. That way, you can follow your marker straight to your destination without worrying about getting lost or having to constantly open your map to ensure you’re on track.
Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for hostiles along the way. It can be very easy to get overwhelmed in Arc Raiders, especially if you’re exploring the Dam Battlefields by yourself. There are a lot of drone enemies in this area, so keep your eyes on the skies and avoid them as much as you can.
Engaging one drone often causes many more to swarm the area, so keep your wits about you and stick to trees and bushes so you are less likely to be spotted.
2. Investigate the EMT Trap
Once you reach the branching path in Victory Ridge, take the road leading to the right and follow it down until you spot a tall, thin metal structure with a yellow control panel near the base. That is the EMT Trap Celeste wants you to take care of.
Interact with the EMT Trap to activate the next part of your quest, where you will have to find all three power switches.
3. Power switch #1
The first of the three power switches can be found on top of a small rocky hill to the north of the EMT Trap. All of the power switches are quite close to the trap, so you don’t have to worry about having to travel too far to find them.
Make your way up the hill and look for the small yellow box. These boxes glow periodically, making them nice and easy to spot. Once you find the power switch, interact with it and head back down the hill to find the next one.
4. Power switch #2
The second power switch is at the top of the ruined building to the east of the EMT Trap. There is quite a lot of rubble there, and it can be difficult to reach the power switch since it’s perched near the top of the structure. To reach it, climb up the ruins opposite the red wall where the switch is hiding, then make your way across a small wooden beam to find the second power switch.
5. Power switch #3
The third and final power switch is the farthest away from the EMT Trap, but it’s still quite close by. To find it, head back to the EMT Trap and turn to face south. Head in that direction until you find a large power pole with a cable hanging off of it. Follow that cable to the end to find the last power switch!
6. Shut down the EMT Trap
With all three power switches dealt with, the last step of the quest is to finally shut down the EMT Trap that Celeste was worried about. Thankfully, this is the easiest part of the quest! Simply head back to the EMT Trap and interact with the base to shut it down and complete the mission.
Straight Record quest rewards
Straight Record is a relatively quick and easy quest, but you will be handsomely rewarded for shutting down the EMT Trap for Celeste. For completing the quest, you will receive 5x Medium Gun Parts and 3x Advanced Mechanical Components. These are excellent materials that you can use to craft weapons and new workstations in the Workshop.
Arc Raiders is packed with tricky quests that require you to find well-hidden locations. If you’re stuck on any other ones, like Straight Record, Eyes in the Sky, or one of Tian Wen’s cache-related quests like Marked for Death, check out our other guides for more assistance.
