Here is the answer to today’s Connections puzzle on Monday, 12th October:
- 🟨 Yellow: Status (Condition, Shape, Situation, State)
- 🟩 Green: Tolerate (Bear, Handle, Stand, Weather)
- 🟦 Blue: Word Shortenings, Often (Abbreviation, Contraction, Elision, Nickname)
- 🟪 Purple: Words Made Using U.S. Postal Abbreviations (Alkylamide, Calamari, Mandarin, Melamine)
Today’s puzzle had a nice mix of vocabulary and classic Connections trickery. Not only were today’s purple words hidden inside others, but they were also very tricky in their own right! Maybe it’s my fault for not being proficient in my U.S. postal abbreviations, but at least I know a little more about them now.
