During Summer Game Fest 2026, SHIFT UP released a new gameplay trailer announcing Stellar Blade: BLOOD RAIN. It is a sequel to Stellar Blade and is set in the same universe. The trailer features new protagonist Evie and showcases her fighting style as well as several locations, enemies, and more. A release date was not announced, but the game will be a self published title.

Set in the same universe as Stellar Blade, the next installment continues the story beyond the events of the first game, introducing new protagonist Evie and expanding the world in a bold new direction.
While the project is still in early development, SHIFT UP has made incredible progress and is looking forward to sharing more details when ready. The team is hard focused on building upon the stylish action, world-building, and core elements that fans have adored from Stellar Blade, while evolving the universe in ambitious new ways.
